Good To Know

The magic bus ride is a 4D cinema experience that includes sudden motion, water sprays, air blasts, fog and aromas.  You should not experience this section of the tour if you suffer from any disorder or condition that may be affected by any of the above, or if you have an overly sensitive nose and don’t like the smell of swamps!

There is a minimum height restriction of 0.9 metres. Rumpelstiltskin is too short. Guests between 0.9 metres and 1.3 metres must be accompanied by an adult on the ride.

The ride is not suitable for guests who suffer from the conditions below;
Epilepsy

Back or neck pain or any weakness in those areas.

Pregnancy

Motion sickness

If you have a heart condition or if you are fitted with a pacemaker

Asthma

Any other chronic illness.

 The ride is accessible to wheelchair users who are able to transfer into the ride seat and have the ability to sit upright and brace themselves.

How Does It Work

You will receive an email confirmation with a voucher attached. Please print this voucher and present it to the Box Office, located within the main entrance.  You will need to exchange your voucher for a timed ticket entrance choosing one of the three options:

• For a timed ticket entry within 45 minutes of exchange
• For a timed ticket entry for later on the day
• For a timed ticket entry for any day and time that week

This Halloween trade ghouls for giggles at Shrek’s Adventure! London as everyone’s favourite ogre and all his DreamWorks pals bring family fun to the Southbank this half term.  From 24th October to 1st November the attraction will be offering guests an exclusive Halloween experience complete with witches, pumpkins and magical surprises for guests of all ages.

Shrek has decorated his home with pumpkins, cobwebs and all things Halloween to create a spooky swamp, but, as we’ve come to learn, things never go to plan!  Providing the perfect alternative to a Halloween scare-fest, this experience is full of hilarity and mayhem as guests are invited to laugh, touch and smell their way through a specially-adapted immersive experience complete with lots of yucky additions to make this season especially gross!

When guests have returned safely from Far Far Away they will find themselves in the arrivals hall for a Shrek meet and greet with a difference! Plus every child will take home their own treat*

From yucky dips to silly tasks as well as fantastic special effects and a 4D experience there are surprises around every corner of the swamp so prepare yourself for an Ogre-Sized Trick or Treat this Halloween at Shrek’s Adventure! London.

Suitable For Children

During your adventure you’ll meet many characters (princesses and donkeys included), but as in all fairy-tales you may also encounter a witch or two, which some of our younger audience may find scary! Whilst there’s no age limit, we recommend Shrek's Adventure! London for children aged 6-12 (and for those younger knights and princesses feeling especially brave).

No child or children under the age of 14 will be admitted to Shrek’s Adventure! London unless accompanied or supervised by an adult, prince or princess aged 18 years or over.

Child age for tickets 3-15 years and any children under this age range go free. 

What Should I Expect

Madagascar Madness

Madagascar madness is arriving at DreamWorks Tours Shrek’s Adventure! London as the travelling circus comes to town. 

After the unique and  interactive adventure with Shrek, Madagascar’s finest circus performers  From tight-rope walking like Gloria to bursting out of a canon like Marty, the fun doesn’t end once you’ve left Far Far Away. Brand new additions to the experience will surround guests with a carnival of colours and entertainment with all their favourite characters! There is even the chance to meet Madagascar characters such as the one and only King Julien.

Kung Fu Panda 

DreamWorks Tours Shrek’s Adventure! London invites guests to unleash their ‘Panda Power’ in the brand new Kung Fu Panda Training Academy and meet Po, the Dragon Warrior himself.

Brand new additions to the experience at DreamWorks Tours Shrek’s Adventure! London will transport guests all the way to the Valley of Peace! Guests can now step into and join the fun with Po, Shifu and all their favourite characters. The Training Academy will allow guests to embrace their inner peace and defy gravity with Shifu’s meditating levitating cloud and, for a more action-packed experience, guests can test their warrior reflexes in the shadow Kung Fu game plus an interactive punch bag challenge.  Guests can even meet Po, alongside his DreamWorks pal Shrek!

How to get there:

By Undergroud
Shrek's Adventure! London is located within easy walking distance from several London Underground stations: Waterloo, Embankment, Charing Cross and Westminster. Waterloo is the closest tube station and is about five minutes walking distance. Visitors can reach Shrek's Adventure by using the District, Circle, Jubilee, Northern and Bakerloo lines. By Rail
The closest overground rail stations to Shrek's Adventure are Waterloo and Charing Cross. Waterloo is the closest rail station and is about five minutes walking distance; take exit six for the South Bank and follow the signs for the Coca Cola London Eye. For latest train updates please visit the National Rail website 

By Bus
Buses to Shrek's Adventure! London include the no. 211, 77 and 381.

By Taxi
Should you encounter any problems please direct your driver to Belvedere road by Waterloo Station. There is a taxi rank located five minutes from the attraction at the bottom of Coca-Cola London Eye landscape should guests wish to get a taxi after their visit.

By Car
riving to Shrek's Adventure! London may be challenging due to our central London location. Usually it is quicker and easier to take public transport to reach us. If you do need to drive, there are three car parks within walking distance located around the South Bank area. Please note that Shrek's Adventure! London is within the Congestion Charge Zone.

By Foot
As it's situated on the South Bank of the River Thames and is within reasonable walking distance of a number of iconic landmarks such as Coca Cola London Eye, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, London Bridge, the Southbank Centre and Westminster.
